I used this on a chocolate cake because the brown butter recipe that was along side it had too many ingredients that I didn’t have. Hi Susy! Only half of the butter is browned so that the buttercream has more stability. The browned butter is a lot softer than the regular butter at room temp. And there’s plenty of brown butter flavor even with half the butter browned instead of all the butter. Hope that helps!
