Could I make the hot cocoa and milk mixture for the cake a day before I actually make the cake, then just bring it up to room temperature before mixing it in to the cake batter? Hi Kelly! I used Hershey’s cocoa powder which is 100% cacao powder, so you could definitely sub any brand of 100% cacao powder. Enjoy!
